Starter: Fresh Mixed Greens Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mixed greens (spinach, arugula, romaine)
  • ¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine mixed greens and cherry tomatoes.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, toss well, and serve.

Main Course: Western Beef Tartare

Ingredients:

  • 200g fresh Western-style ground beef (preferably grass-fed)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 small red onion, finely diced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Tortilla chips or toasted bread slices

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the beef, pickles, onion, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape into a mound on the plate, and place the egg yolk in a well in the center.
  3. Garnish with cilantro and serve with tortilla chips or toasted bread slices.

Dessert: Apple Cinnamon Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Toss the apples with cinnamon and sugar, then place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix oats with butter, sprinkle over the apples.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Serve warm.

Drink: Sparkling Lemon Iced Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brewed black tea, chilled
  • ½ cup sparkling water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, combine chilled tea, sparkling water, and lemon juice.
  2. Add ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices for a refreshing touch.
